1. The platform

NAUVIUM.com — part of MARXL BV ("NAUVIUM", "we") operates an online marketplace where ship owners list materials and parts that will come off a vessel during a planned refit, and where recycling companies, traders and shipyards can bid on, buy and resell them before removal.

2. Accounts

You must hold a verified account to list, bid or buy. You are responsible for the accuracy of your company details and for activity under your account.

3. Listings and the pre-refit window

Quantities, dates and values shown before a refit are estimates based on vessel data and may change when items are physically removed. A deal becomes binding when a bid is accepted or a fixed-price purchase is confirmed.

4. Payment and transfer

Each deal sets a payment deadline (default 14 days). Ownership transfers when payment is confirmed. Transport is arranged between buyer and seller unless agreed otherwise.

5. Certification and compliance

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of certification documents (such as IHM and class records). Buyers are responsible for lawful handling, transport and processing of purchased materials.

6. Liability

NAUVIUM facilitates contracts between users and is not a party to them. We are not liable for the condition of materials, failed payments or transport, except where mandatory law says otherwise.
